Welcome to Whispering Pines Cottages
Welcome to Whispering Pines Cottages, where guests are embraced like family. The cottages have a rich history dating back to 1924 when the Workman family began their construction. Since then, through various owners and names, we acquired the property in 1993 as newlyweds, raising our two children here.
Over the past century, Whispering Pines has seen remarkable changes. Initially accessible only by wagon, our first guests would spend entire summers here. As Model T’s traversed the Big Thompson Canyon, our property evolved to include a store and gas station. In earlier days, we even housed a horse stable.
Our aim is to offer a serene riverside retreat amidst the mountains, a perfect respite after exploring the wonders of Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park.
