If you will be arriving after 9:00 p.m. please call our office IN ADVANCE to make the necessary arrangements.DEPOSITS: A deposit of the first & last night's lodging (per cottage) is required to confirm a reservation. Advance deposits may be made by check money order, or by providing the number of a valid Visa, Master card or Discover card. Your card will be charged. Full payment is required UPON ARRIVAL. Personal checks may be used for advance deposits only. CANCELLATIONS: A refund of your deposit less a $25.00 handling fee per cottage is guaranteed if reservations are cancelled 30 days prior to arrival. There is a 60-day notice or groups renting more than 2 cottages. On cancellations with shorter notice, deposits will be refunded (less handling fees) only if we are able to re-rent the cottage for the entire length of your reservation. You will pay for any nights the cottage sits empty. There is no refund for unused accommodations due to late arrival or early departure, therefore, we appreciate knowing well in advance (at least 3 weeks before arrival date) any changes in your vacation plans. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FULL NUMBER OF NIGHTS YOU RESERVE. MINIMUM STAYS: We do not have a minimum night stay policy except for the following: All cottages - 2 night minimum for holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day) and Scottish Festival. PETS : Sorry, no pets of any kind are allowed. QUIET HOURS: 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Please respect neighboring cottages by keeping the volume of conversations, tv's and radios low-both inside & outside. Only registered guests are allowed on the property during quiet hours. All visitors must be approved by the office in advance, must check in at the office upon arrival and depart by 9:00 p.m. TELEPHONES: There are no telephones in the cottages. There is cell phone reception for most carriers.We will deliver any messages we receive for our guests. Please advise callers of our office hours and possible time zone differences. MAID SERVICE: We do provide a daily maid service. We will clean bathrooms, sweep/vacuum floors, restock towels and take out the trash daily. To conserve water we DO NOT provide sheet changes for stays of 7 nights or fewer. Stays of 8 nights or more receive one sheet change mid-stay if requested. Guests are responsible for washing all dishes used during their stay. Please leave the kitchen (and cottage in general) as clean as you found it. If dirty dishes or a damaged cottage are left upon departure, a $50.00 charge (or more depending on damages) will be added to your bill.
